Editorial Internship - Columbus

The Great Lakes Publishing Custom Media team is currently seeking editorial interns. The ideal candidate is entering his/her junior or senior year and is a journalism, communications or English major. Recent grads are welcome to apply as well.
This is a remote, unpaid internship. We are seeking candidates that are available 8-10 hours per week. Scheduling and hours are flexible. Internships are offered during the summer, fall and spring semesters.
Responsibilities:
Intern duties include writing, editing, fact checking and research. We are looking for this to be a meaningful professional development opportunity for the candidate we select. Other learning opportunities include: participating in editorial meetings and learning the process of assigning content/managing freelance writing.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a student with strong attention to detail, writing skills, knowledge of AP style and spelling, punctuation, grammar and phone skills. Candidates also should possess a strong work ethic, be punctual and reliable.
