Cleveland Magazine hires a photography intern three times a year: for fall, winter/spring and for summer. We accept applications for all academic semesters year-round.
The internships are unpaid. (We reimburse for parking or bus pass). The internships range from 15 to 25 hours a week.
The internship, even though it includes actual operation of the facilities of Cleveland Magazine, is similar to training which would be given in an educational environment.
Interns will be supervised in duties such as photo research, retouching, color correcting images, resizing images for the Web and other supervised opportunities for photo assignments with Cleveland Magazine.
We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented college students working toward a degree in photography. Candidates should have proficient knowledge of digital photography, photo retouching, Adobe Photoshop and own a professional camera. InDesign and Multimedia knowledge a plus.
Send cover letter, resume, preferred semester, weekly availability and work samples to: firstname.lastname@example.org. No phone calls, please.
