Responsibilities:

Day-to-day duties entail:

• Meeting and engaging with clients to discuss video goals
• Collaborating with a team of editors, sales reps, photographers and artists across  both the Cleveland and Columbus offices
• Help create visual storyboards to help tell clients’ stories for video shoots and work alongside editors
• Capture video on a regular basis with help of art director
• Work alongside a photographer and art director while shooting footage
• Edit video footage (Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro) to match storyboards
• Maintain organized files 
• Travel Ohio – from discovering treehouses in Mohican to tasting third-generation cheese at Grandpa’s Cheesebarn 
• Have fun (really)

Qualifications:

• Outstanding portfolio displaying top-notch creativity
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Familiar with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite
• Must take direction and assert ideas quickly
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail necessary in order to handle a number of projects simultaneously
• Must work well in a deadline-driven environment
• Must be able to travel, mostly within Ohio

 

A superior understanding of storytelling and videography is key. The ideal candidate will work well under deadline pressure (there’s a Starbucks in the building!) and will report directly to the Managing Art Director.  The ideal candidate will likely work to pair these video shorts to fit with client’s branding, visitor guides and photo shoots – it’s a group effort!
